Peace Corps Morocco’s
Gender and Development (GAD) Committee is now seeking motivated individuals to
join our team as Cultural Consultants and Translators (CCTs). The CCT team is
comprised of select Moroccan volunteers who 1) assist members of the GAD
committee in developing culturally appropriate and relevant resources and 2)
assist Peace Corps Volunteers around Morocco that may need help in their
gender-focused projects or activities. CCT tasks may include assessing
GAD-created materials for cultural sensitivity, creating and writing content
for the GAD blog, creating new toolkits and resources, helping PCVs with
gender-focused workshops, classes, or camps, and translating documents from
English to Darija, French, Tamazight, and/or Tashlheet.
CCT assistance on projects is primarily done remotely and online. CCTs are unpaid volunteers who work on projects collaboratively with GAD members on a sporadic, as-needed basis.
The
application for 2018 CCT team is open now and is due on March 15, 2018.
